What’s here

We have a number of spaces here at the Rag Factory, all of which have changed since we first took on the building!  Over the past couple of years, we’ve watched how people used the spaces, what seemed to be important to them and what kind of facilities they needed to be comfortable, whether for a day’s auditions, a rehearsal space for a full-time rehearsal schedule, an solo or group exhibition, a film shoot, or a training workshop.

We’ve knocked some walls down, built some in places they didn’t previously exist and generally reconfigured the place until we felt we’d reached the best compromise for the range of activities taking place here.  Even if you’ve been to the Rag Factory before, the chances are that the place has improved since you were last here, so why not take a look and see what we’ve done with the place?

And now, All New!, we've started a new experiment & taken on a whole new suite of spaces, just aronud the corner, offering more 'conventional' but very comfortable spaces ideal for dance & movement work, auditions, castings, read-throughs & so on. We call that suite 202 Studios - check out the numbered studios in the list on the right.

Of course, we’ll keep on watching and learning, as we don’t pretend to have all the answers and we’re happy to evolve as the usage of our buildings does, so don’t be surprised to see more changes as time goes on.
